Alison Ann Sweeney has been an American actor since 1993. She is also a host of reality TV shows and is an actor. Sweeney was most famous for her role for her character Samantha Sami Brady, a role she played on Days of Our Lives from January 6, 1994 until the 30th of October, 2014 as part of the contract with NBC. Sweeney made the decision to quit at the end of 1999. She stayed clear of fads like those of grapefruit as well as the cabbage soup diet. She also took healthier steps like abstaining from sweet drinks and joining boot camp fitness classes. The results? She shed close to 30 pounds. Sweeney is born of Irish descent and has two brothers.
